This is one of the two breeds known as Welsh Corgis. The Pembroke Welsh Corgi was ranked the 13th most popular dog breed in 2018.
Pembroke Welsh Corgis are famous as the preferred dog breed of Queen Elizabeth II, who has personally owned more than 30 royal Corgis or Corgi-Dachshund Crosses, known as Dorgis, during her reign.
The Corgis are intelligent, strong, playful, smart, loyal, stubborn, obedient, fun, and outgoing. They are friendly dogs suitable for owners with different lifestyles.
